[Baptiste wouldn't normally do this either if there was a high chance of someone coming across them at work. They did need to maintain professionalism and all. That said, everyone was mostly checked out for the day and..being a little bad and doing this on the clock felt a bit thrilling, if hes being honest.

He takes in a breath when she breaks the kiss. Following that, he lets out a happy sigh and then a chuckle.]

You can definitely look at it that way. I plan to spoil you with as much affection as possible.

[He leans in and steal another quick kiss from her.]

[ Angela considers herself very lucky to have forged this relationship with Baptiste in this time of great uncertainty. It might sound a little cliché, but he's like a solid pillar that supports her and gives her strength on those days when she worries everything they do still won't be enough. ]

[ It's a tease and she smiles against his mouth at that second kiss before patting his chest fondly with the tips of her fingers. ]

Shall we head out?

[Optimism is definitely one of his strong suits. You first ha veto believe everything will be okay and what you do will help if you actually want it to manifest as such. And Angela has been such an inspiration to him anyway, even before the two of them worked together.]

If you are finished up here, we can. Have you already let Winston know you will be taking a few days for yourself?

[He can't imagine she will get any push back on it, especially when they know she will come in if they really need her.]

Not yet. I suppose that should be a priority, shouldn't it?

[ Angela will probably shock everyone by saying she's taking time off, but they'll also be glad to hear it. ]

If we find him on the way out, I will tell him. Otherwise I'll send along a message.

[Baptiste gives a small nod. He knows he personally is glad to hear she is taking time off. Even if he wasn't going to benefit from her doing so, he'd still be happy to see her rest, knowing just how hard she works.

He takes her hand into his own and starts to lead her along.]

So what is the first thing we should do once we get home? Grab a shower?

Mm, dinner first, I think. I'm famished. Have you eaten yet?

Well, I know you certainly worked up an appetite with what you were doing.

And I haven't eaten anything myself, so we can definitely have dinner first.

[ She links her arm around his. ]

Let's order out tonight.

[He leads her along, going through the halls and takes out his phone as he does to pull up a food delivery app.]

What are you feeling tonight?

Mm, hard to say. Indian, perhaps? Did you have a preference?

Indian food sounds perfect. I could really go for something spicy at the moment.

You want your usual?

Please.

[ Angela rests her head against his shoulder for a moment as they walk, content to let him handle things. It takes a lot of trust for her to allow someone else to hold the reins, so to speak, and speaks of in what high regard she holds him. ]

What are you getting?

[Baptiste is happy to have gotten her trust to this level, especially given his past. It was something he had been forthcoming about, but anyone that has spent more than ten minutes with him knows the sort of person he is.

He taps on his phone, selecting her usual.]

I'm going with the Laal Maas. It was really good the last time I got it.

[He taps once more and sends off the order.]

Sounds good. I may have to steal a bit to sample.

[ She lifts her eyebrows to question if he'll let her. ]

I hope you don't think I'll let you do that without stealing some of yours too.

[ She squeezes his arm as they walk out the doors and into the evening air. ]
